Real Lancashire and its administrative authorities

Lancashire Day is when we celebrate all the great things about our ‘real’ county, not the administrative county that was established in 1974 and has been tweaked ever since.

This year, due to Coronavirus, rather than run a special event station at a prominent location in the area (we’ve previously operated from the famous Lancashire store, Booths, in Burscough and Ormskirk Library) Derek has opted to run the special event from his home QTH in Ormskirk.

Derek will be operating on the HF bands using FT8 and 2m FM at various times throughout the weekend, starting at around 20:00 on the Friday and finishing at about 17:00 on the Sunday.

If you hear GB0LDO calling CQ then please do reply and a special QSL card will weed its way to you via the eQSL and the Logbook of The World (LoTW) electronic QSL services.
